I'm a student who lives in Australia. I'm currently studying a Disability degree at uni. I would describe myself as being: creative, talkative, open-minded, overly sensitive (but that just means that I'm compassionate towards others) & very outgoing (though a tad shy). I enjoy reading books, especially historical novels (such as Pride & Prejudice), doing arty things and I love watching movies especially historical films. I absolutely love watching T.V after a long day studying.

Some of my favourite T.V shows at the moment are: Merlin, Doctor Who, Outlander, Call the Midwife, Wheel of Time and His Dark Materials.

Some of favourite ships are: Arthur/Gwen (Merlin), Peeta/Katniss (THG) & Jamie/Claire (Outlander)

In terms of fandoms, I co-run/mod perioddrama_ic, which a period drama icon contest challenge community.

I also make graphics/icons & write fanfiction, which you can find here @ ella_in_wonderland!

Challenge #5

In your own space, tell us about 3 creative/fannish resources, spaces, or communities you use or enjoy. (One or two is fine, especially if you're in a smaller fandom or like many people at the moment, fannishly adrift right now)

So the first fandom community is a period drama icon contest community that I co-run/co-mod called

perioddrama_ic. I really love running and participating in this contest community because I just love period dramas (from fantasies like Merlin BBC to Jane Austen adaptations such as Sandition) and its great to see other people make icons from ones that they enjoy as well.

The second one would probably be Oh No They Didn't community on LJ because I'm always on there for my daily news and gossip all the time where I can find out stuff from my favourite celebs, TV shows and films.

Challenge #4

In your own space, add something to your fandom’s canon.

Honestly, the thing I would add is something that others have already expressed, but I honestly could believe that if Merlin BBC had continued for another season that Gwen would have been pregnant and had Arthur's baby. I've read fanfic where people have continued on and had Gwen have Arthur's baby and I think it totally works as canon. In all honestly though, there were a lot of great storylines that the writers did not explore in season 5, including the fact that after a few years Gwen and Arthur didn't have any children considering that having an heir is like number one on the list of things a Kind and Queen must do to ensure the throne. Not only for that reason, but seeing as Uther went to Nimeuh to ensure that Igraine would have a son due to the pressure, which would have been the same for Arthur and Gwen. Anyway, I'm now going on a tangent here, so I'll just stop there.
