So one of my all time favourite fandoms (or TV shows) is Call the Midwife which is a series that started in 2012 and is based on the memoirs of a nurse/midwife who worked in the East end of London in the 1950s/60s. It’s up to its 12 season and it’s a great program because it covers so many social issues of the time yet these issues are still somewhat relevant today (I.e., abortion rights etc). It also great at blending drama, heart-warming stories and relationships as well as humour. I definitely recommend this program to people who love a good period drama that likes watching a mostly female cast, loves babies and enjoys crying at an emotional storyline.

Miranda was in it? I have never seen it.

Yes Miranda Hart was in the show between 2012 and 2015. I definitely recommend you try it out.

That’s great to hear! I suppose I assume that Call the Midwife viewing audience would be mostly women, so it’s nice that it also appeals to men too :)
