Hello everyone... its been a while...

Okay so I'm feeling sick and completely bored so I thought I would do some TV memes I got from [personal profile] sherrilina.

Which TV shows did you start watching in 2011?

Doctor Who, Primeval, Once Upon A Time, Being Human (UK version), The Legend of the Seeker, Downton Abbey, The Hour & Silk.

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?

None of them really. I started watching One Tree Hill again but mainly because they released the . Also I got into The Legend of the Seeker, but it only had two seasons so unfortunately I had to let it go.

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011?

None but it did take me a while to actually finally watch Doctor Who. I had promised [personal profile] mustbethursday that I would watch it and I finally did and I loved. I did watch it completely out of order and I've just finished watching series 1 and I actually like the Ninth Doctor.

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?

Great Expectations for sure. Also the rest of Once Upon A Time which I just adore. So does my mum!

Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?

Man this is a hard one. I just.... well Merlin in some ways disappointed me. Mainly with my OTP A/G which I still ship hardcore (if I have a slightly AU verse in my head). I think while it had some great scenes in it my issues is that they set up these story lines yet they didn't spend enough time fully exploring and resolving it. Namely A/G and what happened in 4x09. I won't say much more on that because I want to avoid arguments. Also I'm very much wanting to focus on the positives and the fact that A/G are finally married and totally having sex!!!!

Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?

None really. I mean maybe Merlin but I have a feeling that I will still be watching it and going down with my ship. Though I know that A/G is end!game it doesn't mean that the writers are the best at writing them. Really the main reason I watch this show is because the whole cast has amazing chemistry with each other. If they didn't I'm afraid I wouldn't be watching it. Although they have some great plot ideas, the flaws and plot holes just almost ruin it.

Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get?

Refer to the answer above. Don't get me wrong people, I love Merlin. I guess I had high expectations and then when they didn't happen I was disappointed. I've now learnt that its best to not have high expectations that way when something sort of good happens you are really happy. I did this for Merlin 4x13 and I actually enjoyed it and liked it. I know many people didn't and that's cool. We all have different opinions/ feelings on things and if we all agreed then it wouldn't be as interesting.

Now onto the second meme.

Heh, that's fine bb, I'm often late with these kinds of things myself! ;)

Hmm, well I certainly agree that Amy grew up in s6 (thank god) and was a more enjoyable character, but I don't see how being sidelined for River and never getting the chance to actually show proper emotion about losing her baby until a tiny bit at the very end, and then getting dumped against her will and becoming a perfume model count as decent storylines for her character...Amy definitely got the shaft story-line wise this year, she was no longer the focus, but just the womb that brought forth River, and the object of the Doctor's guilt about his God Complex...

Craig is awesome, with his magical ability to make Eleven truly lovsble for me in a way nobody else does!

And ITA about Sybil/Branson, I hate the relationship now, he was too pushy, and her story got really lame in s2, it's a shame...and yes, Edith/Patrick! :)

Yeah you make some valid points that I agree with. LOL maybe its just I love Amy so much no matter what they do to her (like Gwen in Merlin. Although its more the fact that they don't give her much story line as I would like). But yes its sad that we didn't see much emotions from Amy (and Rory) about losing her baby till the last episode. And really I blame Moffat! I just hope they give Amy some great story lines in series 7.

Craig is just so awesome! I agree!

Yes its disappointing because I really liked Sybil/Branson in series 1 and the beginning of series 2. I also loved Sybil becaming a nurse but we didn't actually see her doing much of that which was sad.

Patrick. That's his name! I forgot!
