Please Donate and spread the word....
So many of you know that for the past year I have been battling with bad depression and anxiety. Well after the positive response I got from some of you in my previous posts, I have decided to be more active in raising awareness surrounding the stigma that is often associated with depression.
In Australia there is a organization called beyondblue which is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related disorders in Australia.
So my proposal is this: I will be hosting an auction on my fanwork journal
m_in_wonderland offering to write little fics, art & fan mixes for the highest bidder. The money raised will be donated to the beyondblue Depression Research Ancillary Fund Trust Deed (link). If you want to donate money without participating in the auction that is ok. The more money the better! Visit here to find out more info on how to donate and how the money donated will be spent.
So give what you can and feel free to spread the word! Depression is one of the most common of all mental health problems and 1 in 5 people will at one stage have depression. So it's so important for all of us to help raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with it so that people know that they can get help and have the programs and services available to them.
I would really appreciate anything that people are willing to give. As you know this is something very close to my heart, so your support would just be magnificent!
ETA: The amazing
rubber_glue suggested that I open the auction for anyone who wants to make something for people to bid on. So if you want to either participate in the auction or offer to make something for it for people to bid on, please let me know here and then I can do a proper post for the auction.
ETA 2: I just posted the Auction Thread here so please visit here for guidelines on how to participate and do what you can to support this very important cause!

I didn't think of getting other people involved with fanfics, videos etc! That's an awesome idea! I love it!
Thanks so much for your support Piper! You're one awesome person!

Thanks so much for your comment. It means so much to me.
Now I've just posted the auction post here so feel free to read the guidelines and offer your services! You can do whatever you want! I've given people till the 4th of December to do their items so that will be plenty of time. I know everyone is busy so hopefully it is enough time.

I just went over to the site and it seems you have to create a My Giving account (which isn't too hard)and that allows you to pay by credit card. Now if you don't want to do that then I'm sure that you can get a Visa Gift Card (or a Re loadable Card) and use that instead. I've used this to pay things online and most sites should accept it.
Anyway, all the info will be on the post which I will be posting shortly at
