LOL I blame this on Misha....

so I just signed up for the reel_merlin thing and I'm writing a Merlin fic cross over with It's a Wonderful Life (Thank god we have the movie too cuz I haven't seen it in a while). I decided to do this for a few reasons! 1. there are not many A/G fics being written on there and its mostly filled with A/M with G/L (which annoys me because I know that there are heaps of A/G fans and more of us then actual G/L fans) and 2. Misha made me using a icon of Chris Hemsworth so I couldn't refuse.

I had a nightmare last night where Gwen did have an affair with Lancelot and it left me feeling very distressed. I just hope that the producers of the show don't really hint at this possibility because it would break my little A/G shipper heart. I discussed with hmsharmony the other day that they probably won't full on hint on it but they may leave it open for interpretation as they seem to be basing the show on the most popular versions of the legends. I think that it would be really sad if they did change from A/G to G/L. I hope that Jen is right and that they will leave it so that A/G fans are happy and can imagine a/G being happily married with little kids and the other shippers can do what they want.

You mustn't blame yourself. It was a pretty hot icon. I don't think I've ever seen It's A Wonderful Life (although I did write a story where it was one of my character's favorite movie). Maybe this Christmas.

LOL I was talking to Sophie and it turns out that ages ago she signed up to do this and picked the same movie as me. But she never finished it.

I agree! Cuz that way we A/G fans can write fics where they are happy and have little kiddies and the others can do what they will.

Yeah I've chosen to ignore the, because I think it is ridiculous that they pair Gwen off with Lancelot just so Arthur can be with Merlin.

You are a braver person than I am! I've avoided taking part in challenges and such stuff because I'm worried I can't do it. :)

I don't think they'll pair A/M in the show but I suppose there is always the chance they make it seem that Gwen still has lingering feelings for Lancelot (which would suck!). I think I'll just ignore those parts if it does happen.

I don't think they will go down the A/M track because they are definitely portraying that as a bromance. I hope there don't really hint that Gwen has lingering feelings for Lancelot. I would hope that we would see clearly that Gwen loves Arthur and wants to marry him.
