Personal Update - Man it’s been a while!
Hello *waves* it’s been a while since I’ve done a personal update. Life as been busy!
Things have been up and down. I managed to patch things up with one of my best friends that I mentioned I had a falling out with on New Years. She admitted that she was unfair and took things out on me. We caught up once nearly two months ago so we aren’t as close as we were. But we have spoken via text and Facebook. She said she’s busy with uni (I am too), so I don’t know when we will catch up again. I’m not sure if I should let her initiate it or if I should do it? It’s hard.
Since I’m struggling with making new friends and I have a disability I’m thinking of opening a social club at uni for people with disabilities. I’m not sure how to go about it so I spoke to the Disability/Counselling service who directed me to speak to the student association disability person. I’ve yet to contact them though because I keep getting sick and losing confidence (I do have anxiety so it makes sense lol).
On the upside, my parents and I have booked a three and a half week trip to the UK for September. This means I’ll be over there for my 30th! I’m excited to be exploring more of Scotland, England and see Wales for the first time. We are planning to go to Port Issac where Doc Martin is filmed, which I’m super happy about!
Fandom wise, I’ve been watching a few new shows/miniseries. I am loving Killing Eve, the new season of The Handmaid’s Tale, Timeless, The Woman in White, and The Good Fight. I’ve also been iconing quite a bit too which is great! My period drama community is going well too, which is amazing and makes me so happy!
