UK Trip 2018: Grasmere!

I apologise for the delay in posting about my trip but I’ve been busy!

Anyway, Tuesday we left Glasgow and drove to Grasmere which is in the Lakes Districts for a few days. We have been there before (five years ago) and ended up staying at the same amazing hotel as last time!

The drive there was beautiful, here’s a little clip:

We need up walking around the lake in Grasmere which once again was stunning! The weather was great too!

We took over an hour drive to Ravenglass to see a 2,000 old Roman Bath that wasn’t too big, but the drive was amazing! Though, the roads were quite narrow (they were goat tracks). But it was lovely as we saw cows and sheep roaming the hills.

We also took a little walk to Grasmere Parish Church. Some parts of the church date 1300AD. Small but very beautiful and peaceful.

We then went for a drive to Keswick to have a look at the market. We didn’t buy much but it was a lovely sight and we ended up having a lovely Cornish pastie from a bakery.

Unfortunately I managed to somehow lose my prescription sunglasses. We looked everywhere and asked at the fromt desk, but had no luck. As we couldn’t find a police station near by we are hoping the insurance will still pay, as three years ago my dad lost his camera in Switzerland and despite not having a police report (we did go to a station but it cost a lot for a report) they eventually paid out. Luckily I have a spare pair at home, but I’m annoyed as they were new (I got them in January).

More amazing pics! Sorry about your sunglasses, though. It's always frustrating to lose stuff like that.
