Ugh!

Today I had a mini anxiety attack at uni. This iron deficiency I have is really getting me down and not helping my depression/anxiety. Nearly been on the iron tablets for two weeks and I’m still feeling quite fatigued, my concentration is quite poor, I have no energy and it’s affecting my studying so much. I had to do a group presentation today and I got so anxious (not about speaking but the content I’d done). My group were lovely and calmed me down but I really am sick of feeling this way. It doesn’t help that my lecturer is so confusing either. I’ve decided to go back to my GP and see about the dosage or other options. I’m near the end of my tether.

Aah, that sucks :( I'm sorry you're having a hard time at the moment. I deal with anxiety/depression too so I know how tough it can be, especially when you're studying and have other health issues as well! Hope you manage to get things sorted and feel better soon; my inbox is always open if you ever want someone to talk to :)

Thanks :) I've managed to get a doctor's appointment this afternoon so hopefully he can do something else to help. My parents are annoying me though because they are like "You should go outside and stop hanging out in your room" and I'm just like I have no energy. They don't get it.

Ugh, yeah, I've heard that one before too. It's so frustrating how so many people seem to think it will help to "just go out and do stuff!" Never mind that it's the inability to just go out and do stuff that is actually kind of the problem...

Fingers crossed your doctor's appointment goes well and he can come up with another way to help :)

Yes if the meds don't work, then it is time to reevaluate.

Yes I think so. Got a doctor's appointment this afternoon so hopefully that'll help! Fingers crossed
